FAQ about Shopmatic Webstore PSG Package

1. Can Shopmatic help me with filling the grant application?

The grant application has to be completed by the “Applicant” / business owner. Should you require assistance, please visit the CTO-as-a-Service website.

2. Can I combine this with other grants?

Yes, you may avail other grants suitable to help your business. Please visit the CTO-as-a-Service website to get more information on available solutions for your business. 

3. I am selling only 1 product. Can I still apply for this grant?

The Productivity Solutions Grant for E-Commerce – Online Shop (B2C) is designed for businesses who are looking to  grow their business through online retail. If your intention is to sell your product and grow your business, you may consider applying for the grant. Approval will be subject to IMDA and Enterprise Singapore’s approval. 

4. I am selling a service. Can I still apply for this grant?

The Productivity Solutions Grant for E-Commerce – Online Shop (B2C) is designed for businesses who are looking to  grow their business through online retail. If you are a service provider and wish to launch your business online, please visit the CTO-as-a-Service website to get a more in-depth consultation on suitable solutions.

5. My company is not registered in Singapore. Can I still apply for this grant?

The grant is only available to companies registered in Singapore and have met the grant eligibility requirements. Please visit the CTO-as-a-Service website to learn more about grants and solutions available for Singapore SMEs. 

6. How long does it normally take to fill out the application?

The grant application and submission process may take about 30 minutes to complete. You will need to have a CorpPass account to submit an application. Applications have to be submitted via the Business Grants Portal

7. What documents do I need to keep ready to fill out the application?

You will need to have the following documents:
1. Quotation from Vendor (Shopmatic)
2. Latest Company Financial Statement (Your Business Financial Statement)
3. Lease/Tenancy Agreement (if applicable)

8. How long will Shopmatic take to get the webstore ready?

It typically takes 4 – 6 weeks for Shopmatic to complete the set up of e-commerce stores. In order to complete the set up within the stipulated time, you will need to provide all necessary information to set up your online store. 

9. What information will Shopmatic need from me to get the webstore ready?

To get started, you will need to provide the following:
1. Company information and write up
2. Product listing details (image, descriptions) ideally in a csv file
3. Images / lifestyle images and banners
4. Brand guidelines

10. Can Shopmatic help with taking photographs of the product?

This package does not include product photography services. 

11. What format do the product images need to be?

Image files must be provided in .png or .jpg format

12. I just want a website to be built for my business. I don’t need to sell products online. Can I still use this grant?

13. What happens if I don’t qualify for the grant after I have paid Shopmatic?

You may wish to kickstart the project once you have submitted your grant application through the Business Grant Portal. However, should your application be rejected, you shall be liable for the full amount of the package.

14. I filled up the form but I haven’t heard from Shopmatic, what do I do?
